Rustic Road 125

R-125 winds through Bayfield and Sawyer counties along Telemark Road and Spider Lake Fire Lane, starting at County Road M and ending at County Road OO and Clear Lake Road.

This 9.4-mile route, with both paved and unpaved sections, twists through glacial hills, dense forests, wetlands teeming with wildlife, and scenic lakes. The shady canopy creates a peaceful backwoods vibe, perfect for a quiet escape.

R-125 connects to bike, Nordic ski, and ATV trails, as well as Lake Helane, a State Natural Area. The Namekagon River crosses the northern section, offering great spots for camping, fishing, and tubing. Just east of the American Birkebeiner Trail, R-108 is half a mile west.
