Poy Sippi Artesian Well

West on County Road H not too far outside of Poy Sippi there is a road side artesian well. Locals and tourists alike love the water.

Jay, one of the “Stoner’s” behind this book and website, grew up in the area and ever since he can remember, people have been quenching their cotton mouth symptoms at this watering hole.

There used to be another artesian well directly at the Poy Sippi Community Park in town along the river. The artesian well ran into a concrete storage overflow that often served as Jay’s live well in his youth fishing days.
